Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness of the use of digital-based employee Performance Management System (SMK) at PT Kalimantan Agro Nusantara, Digital Business Division, Digital Operation and Assurance (DOA) Unit. The main objectives of this study are to observe the effectiveness of the use of digital technology in the employee performance management system, identify factors that influence the implementation of the digital-based employee performance management system, understand the role of digital technology in supporting and improving the effectiveness of the employee performance management system in the Digital Business Division, Digital Operation and Assurance (DOA) Unit of PT Kalianusa Baru and its impact on performance results and organizational efficiency. This research approach uses descriptive qualitative and case studies. Through interview and documentation methods, it is shown that the use of digital technology in employee vocational schools is very effective, because the application of digital technology enables process automation, rapid access to information, data integration, and increases operational efficiency and effectiveness. Factors influencing the implementation of digital-based vocational schools include technology and facility support, effective leadership, a collaborative company culture, employee development through training, as well as network challenges and variations in employee competency backgrounds. The role of digital technology in digital-based vocational schools (SMK) provides faster customer service, employee flexibility in work locations, and higher operational efficiency. This not only impacts overall company performance but also enhances customer satisfaction and employee ability to provide better solutions. In this context, the application of digital technology in performance management demonstrates its crucial role in improving operational efficiency and customer service in the digital era
